"All those crooked paths, they got you here as much as the straight ones. All those rough days, they grew your muscles and your back bone even more than the good days. All the darkness that has surrounded you over the years revealed your light and your capacity to keep going to be so bright. It's how you look at life, darling. Don't begrudge the rough, the tough, the crooked, and the dark. Embrace them as a good friend and sacred guide. They have all contributed immensely to the wonder you are unraveling to be." ~S.C. Lourie~

Good evening dear ones. What a week it has been! Tomorrow I hope to be able to go back to work, as so far the weather has been uncooperative. Today's quote is a recent find, today in fact, and like a few others, it speaks volumes. No matter what path you take, no matter what obstacles are in your way, you can get to your destination. It may be dark, it may be lonely, and it most certainly will be tough. However, no matter what you face along your path, you can make it. One step at a time. The road you are on is yours alone. You may share it with others, they may walk with you for a time, but ultimately, it is a path that is unique to you.

My path has not been an easy one, yet I wouldn't change anything. It has made me who I am today. I am sure I still have some rocky spots ahead, but I will get through them. I have my boys, my mom, my friends, my fur-babies, my writing, and music, all of which keep me going. They also help me retain my sanity.

Embrace who you are and the path you are on. Be good to yourselves and one another my loves. Each day is a gift. Be Kind, Be Peace, and Be Love. Yesterday is past and tomorrow isn't promised. Live and love for today. - Live - Laugh - Love - Namaste
