"Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them humanity cannot survive." ~Dalai Lama~

"Let us Love the world to Peace." ~Eileen Elias Freeman~

Good evening dear ones. Tonight I would like to ask that you take a moment, close your eyes, and try to imagine a few things.

Imagine that you are a young girl who is being abused. You are told, that if you tell anyone then your family will be hurt, or you will. So you hide it and keep it to yourself. As you grow older, lash out from all the pain that you keep deep down inside and your path becomes destructive. You doesn't ask for help because you still fear for your family and yourself. Can you imagine?

Imagine that you are young man who is told to 'suck it up', or 'real men don't cry' so you keep your feelings to yourself. You hide your pain, and that pain turns into rage. The rage you are feeling builds until you can no longer take it and you snap. You snap at your family, your friends, or anyone who looks at you wrong. You end up in trouble with the law, or worse. Can you imagine?

Imagine that you are a woman who was raped. You go to the police, but no one seems to believe you. They take down your statement with a smirk, comment on what you are wearing and send you on your way. Depression sets in, and now you are afraid to leave your house. You have anxiety that requires medication to be calmed but going to a therapist takes a lot of effort that you no longer wish to engage in. Can you imagine?

Imagine that you are black man or woman who is demonized and vilified for the color of your skin. You are just walking down the street with no purpose but to get where you are going. A cop drives by and you are suddenly afraid. You ask yourself, "Will they stop me?" or "Will I make it home to see my kids if the do stop?" You've seen the news and you know what goes on, so you wonder am I next? Can you imagine?

This is the world we live in today. Many people are in pain, hurting for one reason or another and it is bleeding out into the world. We destroy things we do not understand instead of embracing our differences and trying to understand. I cannot imagine what it is like to be a person of color in this country. I will never know what it is like. However, I will stand with them against the injustice, because they deserve better. They need to know they can and will be accepted for who they are and not judged by the color of their skin.

My loves, be good to each other and yourselves. Let kindness be your weapon of choice and open your heart to those who need your support. Let us bring peace to this chaotic world of ours and enjoy the time we have left. Be Kind, Be Peace, and Be Love. Yesterday is past and tomorrow isn't promised. Live and Love for today. - Live - Laugh - Love - Namaste
