Good afternoon dear ones. Today I give you a wonderful quote and beautiful song lyrics that I feel describe any child that is different from societal norms. Those with Autism, downs, or anything else that gives them a perspective of life that many people don't understand. My oldest son was diagnosed with autism and he has one of the most beautiful souls. There may be many things about basic needs, and other 'normal' things about life he doesn't understand, however, he gets other things that most people ignore. He has found a kinship with the insect, and arachnid world and just about every life within that world means everything to him. With this love of his, he has taught me patience, and to know when to take a step back when I'm upset. He has taught me that no matter our differences, we can enjoy conversation and learn from those differences. Finally he has taught me that every living thing deserves love and compassion.

Our differences are what give us the means to have such a wonderful and diverse world. Our differences should teach the world that just because we are different, doesn't mean we can't be decent to each other. It doesn't mean that we can't accept those differences and just enjoy life. Take some time and think of what makes you different from others. Remember, what it takes for a butterfly to get it's wings, and just because someones wings are different than yours, doesn't mean they can't fly just as high. Embrace your own differences, and maybe... just maybe you'll be able to embrace the things that make others different from you.
