"Hurt people, hurt people. That's how pain patterns get passed on, generation after generation after generation. Break the chain today. Meet anger with sympathy, contempt with compassion, cruelty with kindness. Greet grimaces with smiles. Forgive and forget about finding fault. Love is the weapon of the future." ~Yehuda Berg~

Good evening dear ones. While there is part of this quote that I may not necessarily agree with, it does spark some contemplation. The world today is in a vicious cycle of pain, suffering, cruelty, hate, and violence. There seems to be no regard for human life anymore. Instead of trying to settle a dispute with peace and understanding, the first thing people reach for is a weapon. Whether it is words, or actual physical weapons, it is anger and retaliation that become the problem solver of choice. Sadly, all this does is create more problems, and continuous destruction.

We need to break the cycle, learn to listen, and understand. Take the time to get to the root of the problem instead of immediately flinging insults, raising a fist, or grabbing a gun or other weapon of convenience. Life is a precious thing, and so many are just wasting it on things that are truly trivial.

Be good to yourselves and each other my loves. Enjoy life and love with all you have. Be Kind, Be Peace, and Be love. Yesterday is past and tomorrow isn't promised. Live and love for today. - Live - Laugh - Love - Namaste
