"Sometimes things happen that makes no sense at all, you ask yourself how can another person willfully hurt another. It is more of a statement of disbelief than a question. All we could hope for is that our collective voice against the inhumanity of the few and our universal desire to live in a compassionate filled world extinguish the fire of hatred others have spawned. Let us not forsake our humanity." ~Dodinsky~

Good afternoon dear ones. Yesterday a coworker of mine and her family were victimized. Their home, where they should feel safe, was burglarized while they weren't home. A devastating thing to happen any time of year, but during the holidays it adds a little more insult to injury. It's things like this that give me pause and make me wonder what the hell this world has come to. I become disgusted with humanity. Then something happens that immediately turns that disgust into faith restored.

The news quickly spread throughout the building and soon a call to action was made. We have our own 'mother hen' or shall I say... 'lucky penny', who is there for anyone who needs her. She took the reins and sent out word of this tragic event, requesting help. The outpouring of love, support, and compassion took flight and a collection for the family was started. We may not always get along, but when tragedy hits one of our own, we come together to help ease the pain it brings. I am grateful for those I work with, my second family. They have, once again, restored my faith in humanity and proved that not all is lost.

Take hold of your loved ones and let them know how much they mean to you. Be good to yourselves and one another my loves. This world needs all the kindness we can muster. Be Kind, Be Peace, and Be Love. Yesterday is past and tomorrow isn't promised. Live and love for today. -Live - Laugh - Love - Namaste
