"Everyone has their battles. We all struggle and try and wear a brave face. Maybe with this thought alone, we can learn to embrace each other a little more easily." ~April Peerless~

Good evening dear ones. I'm sure most, if not all, of you have heard or seen the phrase 'Everyone is fighting a battle we know nothing about'. The recommendation is always to 'be kind'. However, we may not always stay silent about the struggles we are facing. Once in awhile we may confide in friends or family members about something going on in our lives. Then we get told 'It could be worse' or they say 'sorry' and follow it up with a story of their own to show they are the ones who have it worse. When this happens, our feelings seem to become invalidated and it's like we aren't allowed to have a difficult time in life.

My friends, if someone confides in you about their struggles don't dismiss their feelings. They could just need someone to listen, or a shoulder to cry on. This would be especially true for those who generally don't share things they might be going through. What they tell you may only be part of the story and all they are looking for, is someone to lend an ear. Don't discount their feelings, or what they are going through. Give them a chance to say their piece and perhaps give them some comfort. A little compassion and kindness can make someone's bad day better. Perhaps that small act is the push they need to keep going and one day they will be there for you in the same way.

Be good to each other and yourselves, my loves. Life is difficult enough without us making it harder on each other. Take a moment to show those you love how you feel, don't just tell them. Be Kind, Be Peace, and Be Love. Yesterday is past and tomorrow isn't promised. Live and love for today. - Live - Laugh - Love - Namaste
