Good morning dear ones. Since I woke up this morning I have had a scene from the Disney version of Aladdin running through my head. It is the scene were Aladdin has led the runaway Princess Jasmine to his little hovel. She likes the sound of the life he leads, the freedom to be who his, and a life without royal chains. He is in awe of the palace, and sees a life of never having to scrape by and live each day wondering where his next meal will come from. They both describe the aspects of their respective lives that they hate and they end the same way by saying, 'I'm just trapped'.

So many times we see things that are just on the surface. A popular person might be lonely without having at least one true friend that they can count on to be there. Someone who makes others laugh might be depressed and unable to truly laugh themselves. A life we envy could be someone else's prison, and the life we lead could be someone else's dream.

I know that everyone has their struggles, and that you may not be happy with where you are right now. So, take some time to think about how far you've come. I hope that you will find at least one thing to be thankful for, a silver lining that gives you the strength to keep going. I hope you are able to see the world through new eyes and find the freedom you deserve.
