"Soul work is not a high road. It's a deep fall into an unforgiving darkness that won't let you go until you find the song that sings you home." ~McCall Erickson~

Good morning dear ones. One of the hardest things I have ever done was take a look inside myself and try to figure ME out. If you have never taken the time to do it, please know it isn't for the faint of heart. You have to be willing to see the darkness within you and accept that its there. I have spent years digging in deep and I'm still going. Soul work is truly never done but it is well worth the time it takes to do it.

I have learned that when something little sets me off, there is more to it and I have to identify what is really going on if I am to work through the issue. This is where the continuous soul work comes in. We all have our trauma. We all have our deep seated fears that we cannot seem to let go of. However, if we do not face those fears, and really release the wounds of the past we will end up bleeding on those who had nothing to do with the original injury. I know from experience that keeping things bottled up inside is the WORST thing you can do for yourself. You cannot just push it aside and expect it to just go away. It will fester, and fill with anger until it bursts. If you do not cut out the anger, or hurt at its source it will keep coming back until you do.

My loves, please take care of yourselves and each other. Find that song that will sing you home. Find that darkness and shed some light on it. Do not leave it in the shadows to grow until it can no longer be contained. Be kind to yourself, and allow a little grace for all. Yesterday is past and tomorrow isn't promised. Live and love for today. - Live - Laugh - Love - Namaste
