“Life is all about balance. You don’t always need to be getting stuff done. Sometimes it’s perfectly okay, and absolutely necessary, to shut down, kick back, and do nothing. ~Lori Deschene~

Good day dear ones. When was the last time you watched the sun set? If you live near the beach, when was the last time you just sat there and listened to the waves crash against the shore? When was the last time you stopped to take in the beauty of a flower garden?

Life seems to move so fast, and everyone is in such a hurry to get to the next place, the next day, the next month. No one takes the time to slow down and savor the moment they are in. I try to, and I try not to feel guilty for having a weekend of doing nothing. The notion of having full life appears to mean you must cram everything you can in one day, every day. I don’t believe this is true. I think you should mix it up. Spend time slowly walking an easy hiking trail and have a picnic after. If you sit down to watch a movie, put everything else away. Sit outside and watch the sunset while sipping your favorite beverage. Take a long bath and mentally note how the water feels on your skin. Give yourself some time to slow down and enjoy the moment.

My loves, life is far too precious to move through it at warp speed. Moments should be savored and enjoyed. Don’t take the little things for granted. Be good to yourselves and each other. Live your life in the moments that take your breath away. Be Kind, Be Peace, and Be Love. Yesterday is past and tomorrow isn’t promised. Live and love for today. – Live – Laugh – Love – Namaste
