"We have all been placed on this Earth to discover our own path, and we will never be happy if we live someone else's idea of life." ~James Van Praagh~
Good evening dear ones. It seems that everything in the news and on social media bothers me these days. My biggest issue with what dominates these platforms, is people being offended by how someone else lives their life, or by the choices they make. Why does someone else's choices bother people that have nothing to do with the situation? Why do people feel the need to make nasty comments or take being judgmental to the next level? Just because their path leads somewhere else, doesn't mean its the wrong path.
It is said, 'Don't judge someone until you've walked a mile in their shoes'. I have a better idea. Don't judge them at all. A mile, may be just a chapter in a life filled with obstacles you know nothing about. The mile you came in one isn't the full story, and you have no idea what it took to get to the spot they are in now. The shoes they are wearing may be covering blistered, broken, and battered feet that walked across broken glass, and hot coals. Whatever path someone is taking, it is theirs, and has nothing to do with you. We may walk with them for a short time, and when we do, why not bring comfort instead of telling them they are going the wrong way. Let them know that for this leg of their journey they are not alone, and you will walk with them until it is time for one of you to turn a different direction.
My path in life has taken many turns. There are some that have walked with me a long time, and there are some that have only walked with me for a mile or so. I will never forget those that have shared the road with me, no matter how long our time together was. I miss some, others, not so much. However, I am grateful for all that I have met, no matter the circumstances that had them taking another route.
So my loves, be good to yourself, and to others. Leave your judgments at the door, and remember to Be Kind, Be Peace, and Be Love. There is beauty in this world, you just have to look for it. Yesterday is past and tomorrow isn't promised. Live and love for today. - Live - Laugh - Love - Namaste
