"Walking, I am listening to a deeper way. Suddenly all my ancestors are behind me. Be still, they say. Watch and listen. You are the result of the love of thousands." ~Linda Hogan~

"May you be at peace. May your heart remain open. May you awaken to the light of your own true nature. May you be healed. May you be a source of healing for all beings." ~Tibetan Buddhist Prayer~

Good day dear ones. It is that time of year again, where the veil is thinning and our ancestors are pressing against it trying to make their presence known. Many cultures around the world celebrate this time by lighting candles, having festivals, and honoring those that have crossed over. They have feasts, prepare alters with pictures and other memorabilia, to acknowledge the loved ones and what they have meant to them. To me, it is a great thing to honor those who have gone before us, and celebrate the lives that had touched ours.

Life. Something so many take for granted these days. Something very few seem to value, indeed the value of life seems to have waned over the years. Our ancestors viewed life as sacred. All life, not just human. They honored those who came before them and saw them as guides who continued to help them. They also gave credit to animal spirits and viewed each one as having traits that give us some form of guidance in life. All Life Is Sacred. The ancients believed this, I believe this, and I think it is something that should be taken in to consideration by each person on this Earth.

My loves, as stated earlier, the veil is thinning, and we should take this time to honor those who have gone beyond it. However, remember to take the time to honor those who still remain. Life is far too short to leave anything to chance, and we never know what tomorrow will bring. Be good to yourselves, and each other. Be Kind, Be Peace, and Be Love. Never give up hope, because your answers may be just around the corner. Yesterday is past and tomorrow isn't promised. Live and Love for today. - Live - Laugh - Love - Namaste
