"Believe in Love's infinite journey, for it is your own, for you are Love. Love is Life." ~Rumi~
Good morning dear ones. We often think of wealth as owning expensive material things and having lots of money to be able to afford those things. However, I do not believe this is the case. It may sound cliché but I believe true wealth is found in how much we love.
Growing up, I may not have had everything I wanted, but I had everything I needed. My mom raised me and she made sure I was provided for in every way possible. Food on the table, a roof over our heads, and all the love she had to give. I have done my best to try and do the same for my own children. I may not have been able to give them everything they've ever wanted, but I have done what I could to make sure they were provided with what they needed. We haven't always had it easy, with many struggles along the way, but we've always had each other. Whatever their interests I've always tried to encourage them to be themselves and love who they are. In doing that, they have taught me just as much about life as I have taught them, perhaps more.
My loves, please remember that love means more than any materialistic object we could ever own. Having friends that become family is more important than stroking an ego with riches that won't provide us the warmth that our souls crave. Giving our children our unconditional love will allow them to grow in compassion, kindness, and understanding for their fellow humans as well themselves. The gift of love is the most precious and priceless gift we can give and receive.
Life is short dear ones, so please, take nothing for granted. Be good to each other and yourselves. Celebrate the differences in others and learn to see the beauty in what they bring to your life. Be Kind, Be Peace, and Be Love. Yesterday is past and tomorrow isn't promised, never let a day go by without telling your loved ones how you feel. Live and love for today. - Live - Laugh - Love - Namaste
