United We Stand

Good evening Dear Ones. Never in my life did I think I would see the country I live in so divided. As the years have gone by, I would have thought we would be able to get past some of the labels of race, gender, or partner choice. Yet, every day things seem to be getting worse, not better. This country appears to be more divided then ever, and it has extended around the globe.

While I certainly do believe that we should stand united, I firmly believe we need to be united in peace, love, and kindness. Instead I see unity in hate, fear, cruelty, and destruction. We are so busy fighting each other, we do not see where the true threat lies. My loves, before you repeat the words that are being spoken in the world today, fact check. Before you condemn a race, a religion, a group of people, or even one person, remember there are 3 sides to every story.

I want so much to believe that the country I served is a great one. I really want to see the good in the humans that occupy this planet. However, I find it difficult to do, day in and day out. So my friends, I leave you with this - No matter what the world throws at me, I will do my damnedest to choose love, and I can only hope that you will do the same. Let us stand united against those that would see us destroyed. Let us show them that kindness, understanding, and compassion are the paths to peace. Let us give everyone a reason to believe in humanity.

Be good to yourself, and each other. Never let a day go by without letting your loved ones know how you feel. Be Kind, Be Peace, and Be Love. Life is too short to be anything else. Yesterday is past and tomorrow isn't promised. Live and love for today. - Live - Laugh - Love - Namaste
