Who Do You Think You Are?

Good evening dear ones. If someone were to ask you to describe yourself, what would your answer be? Would you say you were a mother or father? Would you say you are someone's spouse? Would you answer based on how you truly see yourself or would you answer based on how others have described you?

Knowing who we are can be tricky, especially with society trying to push its ideas of who we should be on us constantly. We attach our identity to people and things and if we lose those people or things we feel as though we have lost who we are. This couldn't be further from the truth. Who we are is not tied to outside sources, but who we are in our hearts. I have spent many years trying to figure myself out and I am still working on it. As stated in the quote above my identity is constantly evolving and I am continuously trying to grow.

My loves, please remember you are unique and amazing individuals. Do not let society or anyone else to you who you are. You are very capable of figuring out your identity, and I promise you it is worth the work to do it. You will most likely have to face parts of yourself you have kept hidden, but accepting all of yourself will lead you to a better version of you. Remember the words 'I Am' can be a powerful tool to help you along the way.

Be good to yourselves and each other, as you never know what someone else is going through. Be Kind, Be Peace and Be Love. Yesterday is past and tomorrow isn't promised, Live and love for today.
